Council receptions, cable television broadcasts, and educational conferences are supported outside the regular Council budget by sponsorships, and are deeply appreciated.

Receptions, which precede each program, are an important part of the evening's ambiance and are greatly appreciated by members and guests. The cost usually is $1,000.00. Sponsors are acknowleged by name and thanked at the reception and when the speaker is introduced.

Cable Television Outreach allows every program to be carried to a potential audience of 2,600,000 households in the greater Maryland area. It allows the Distinguished Speakers Program to be shared with those at a distance from Baltimore and those not used to attending formal presentations. A program's cable television sponsorhip is generally $1,000. Sponsors are acknowledged by name and thanked when the speaker is introduced, and in the cable rebroadcasts.

Educational Conferences uniquely bring together faculty and students from around the state and give them a rare chance to hear and meet with policy makers. Sponsorship costs vary. Sponsors are thanked at the reception, when the speakers are introduced, and in the cable television rebroadcasts of the session.
