Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and eleventh day of large-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against our state continues.

During the day, the enemy launched 21 air strikes and 5 missile strikes, 4 of which were from the S-300 air defense system on the peaceful city of Kramatorsk. Also, the occupiers launched about 30 attacks from MLRS systems on the positions of our troops and the civilian infrastructure of populated areas.

The russian federation continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, so the probability of launching missile and air strikes remains high throughout the territory of Ukraine.

Despite numerous losses in equipment and manpower, the enemy does not give up waging a war of aggression. It continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions – more than 20 enemy attacks were repelled that day.

On the Volyn, Polissiya, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. Certain units of the territorial troops of the armed forces of the russian federation continue to be on the territory of the republic of belarus, but no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy have been detected.

The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine, and continues to carry out engineering equipment in the area.

During the day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Gremyach and Kamianska Sloboda of Chernihiv region; Volfine, Andriyivka, and Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Veterinarne, Strelecha, Gatishche, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka, and Vilkhuvatka in the Kharkiv region.

Kamianka, Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Vilshana, Kindrashivka, Kislivka, and Berestov of the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire in the Kupyansk direction.

On the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Makiivka, Chervopopivka, and Bilogorivka. Makiivka, Nevske, and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Torske, Spirne, and Berestov in Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.

The enemy continues to conduct offensive actions, tries to take full control of the city of Bakhmut, fighting continues. During the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Bohdanivka and Khromovo. Zaliznyanske, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Khromove, Ivanovske, Predtechine, Chasiv Yar, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.

The enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of Avdiivka, Severna, Nevelske and Maryinka settlements of the Donetsk region, was unsuccessful. The fiercest battles continue for Avdiivka and Maryinka. At the same time, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Gostre, Georgiivka, Maryinka, and Pobieda came under enemy fire.

During the day, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Shakhtarsk direction. He shelled the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Bogoyavlenka and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Shelled, in particular, Vremivka in the Donetsk region and Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhia region.

The russian occupiers continue to strengthen the counter-intelligence regime in the temporarily occupied territories. The number of roadblocks and patrols increased in Starobilsk, Luhansk region, and around the city.

The situation is somewhat similar in the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. Fearing the leakage of information about the locations of the occupying units, the invaders began to restrict certain traffic routes to local taxi drivers.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made 8 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. An enemy Mi-24 helicopter and 6 UAVs of various types were also shot down (2 of them attack, 4 reconnaissance).

Units of rocket troops and artillery struck the area of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, as well as the enemy’s ammunition depot.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
