Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and sixty-eighth day of large-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against our country continues.

During the day, the enemy launched 35 missile strikes, using Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles. All missiles were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy also carried out 30 airstrikes and 43 attacks from MLRS systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, residential apartment buildings and private houses have been damaged.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.

In addition, this night, russian terrorists committed another war crime – in order to prevent the advance of our troops, they blew up the internal structures of the Kakhovskaya HPP. As a result of the terrorist attack, about 80 settlements are in the zone of flooding.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, 28 combat clashes took place.

In the Volyn and Polissiya directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. During the day, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Ohirtsevo area of the Kharkiv region. Carried out mortar and artillery shelling of Kamianka, Karpovichi, Tymonovichi, Medvedivka, and Galaganivka settlements of Chernihiv region; Middle Buda, Shalygine, Volfine, Popivka, Basivka, Zapsillia, Myropillia, Myropilske, Velika Pisarivka of the Sumy region, as well as Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Baranivka, Veterinarne, Visoka Yaruga, Strelecha, Gatishche, Synelnikove, Tsegelne, Staritsa, Vovchansk, Zybine, Karaichne, Zarichne, Pechenygi, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, Chugunivka, Milove, Velikiy Burluk, Odradne, Figolivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction, Novomlynsk, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Liman Pershiy, Kislivka, Tabaivka, Berestov of the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske of the Luhansk region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire during the day.

In the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Kreminna, Belogorivka, Luhansk region, and Berestov, Donetsk region. Carried out airstrikes in the Spirne, Vesele, Hryhorivka and Ivanivka districts of the Donetsk region. Nevske, Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Verkhnokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of Klishchiivka, without success. Conducted an airstrike in the Bila Hora region of the Donetsk region. Areas of settlements of Vasyukivka, Malynivka, Tikhonivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Stupochki, Bila Gora, Oleksandro-Shultine, Ozaryanivka, Toretsk, and Northern Donetsk region were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Avdiyiv direction. Airstrikes in the Avdiyivka area. Carried out artillery shelling of the areas of settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, Nevelske of the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, our defenders repelled all 12 enemy attacks in the area of the city of Maryinka. At the same time, the enemy carried out airstrikes within this settlement. Gostre, Maksimilianivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the direction of Shakhtarske, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Vugledar, Bogoyavlenka, Zolota Niva and Velika Novosilka. Shelled the settlements of Vugledar, Prechistivka, Novoukrainka, and Zolota Niva in the Donetsk region.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Launched an airstrike on Olhivskyi, Zaporizhzhia region. Carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Vremivka, Novopil, Donetsk region; Temyrivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Biloghirya, Stepove and Kamianske of Zaporizhzhya region; Odradokamyanka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

russian occupation forces continue to suffer casualties on the battlefield. Due to the large number of wounded, the enemy lacks medical personnel in all directions. Therefore, the enemy began to attract students from medical universities of the russian federation to work in front-line military medical institutions of various types. In particular, students from medical universities of the russian federation arrived in Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region for a twenty-day period to undergo medical training in combat units.

At the same time, the russian occupiers continue to use the infrastructure of temporarily captured settlements to provide medical care to their wounded servicemen. Recently, in the settlement of Oleksiivka in the Kherson region, on the territory of a local school, the invaders set up a field hospital. About 25 medical personnel are stationed there to treat the occupiers with injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Aviation of the defense forces per day struck 10 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas.

During the day, units of missile forces and artillery struck 9 control points, 4 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 3 ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile complex, 14 artillery units of the enemy in firing positions and 16 other important enemy targets.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
