Russian Ministry of Defense: Up to 925 Ukraine troops killed in 24 hours

Last night the Kiev regime made another attempt to attack a Russian Navy ship escorting civilian maritime transport with an unmanned boat in the south-western part of the Black Sea. As a result of professional actions of the Russian ship’s crew, the Ukrainian boat was promptly detected and destroyed.

▫️The AFU continued unsuccessful attempts at offensive actions in South Donetsk, Krasny Liman, Zaporozhye, Kupyansk and Donetsk directions.

In Donetsk direction, as a result of well-coordinated actions of the defending units of the Yug Group of Forces in close co-operation with aviation and artillery, 12 enemy attacks have been successfully repelled close to Berestovoye, Spornoye, Severnoye, Staromikhailovka, Maryinka and Krasnogorovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️In addition, AFU units have been hit near Chasov Yar, Belaya Gora, Krasnogorovka, Kurdyumovka, and Dzerzhinsk (Donetsk People’s Republic).

1ammunition depot of the AFU Liman operational-tactical group has been destroyed near Slavyansk (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 295 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 tanks, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, 4 pickup trucks, 1 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery system, 1Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, as well as 2D-20 howitzers and one D-30.

In South Donetsk direction, as a result of the well-coordinated and professional actions by the units of the Yug Group of Forces, as well as aviation, artillery and heavy firing systems, 1 enemy attack has been repelled near Urozhaynoye (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 210 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, 1 Polish-manufactured Krab self-propelled artillery system and 1Bogdana wheeled self-propelled howitzer.

In Zaporozhye direction, as a result of active actions by Russian units, aviation and artillery, 4 enemy attacks have been repelled close to Rabotino and Pyatikhatki (Zaporozhye region).

▫️In addition, 1ammunition depot of the AFU 15th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine has been destroyed near Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 220 Ukrainian servicemen, 1 tank, 2 infantry fighting vehicles and 2 motor vehicles.

In Kupyansk direction, the assault detachments of the Zapad Group of Forces, advancing towards Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic) and Timkovka (Kharkov region), improved the tactical situation.

▫️In addition, 2 attacks by units of the 25th Airborne Brigade have been successfully repelled near Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️As a result of actions by aviation and artillery, AFU manpower and hardware concentration areas have been hit close to Timkovka, Kotlyarovka and Pershotravnyovoye (Kharkov region) and Novosyolovskoye and Artyomovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, 1Grad MLRS combat vehicle, 1 Polish-manufactured Krab self-propelled artillery system, 2Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, 1Nona self-propelled artillery and mortar system, 1Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, and 1Msta-B gun.

In Krasny Liman direction, as a result of actions by units of the Tsentr Group of Forces, Army Aviation and artillery, 1 enemy attack has been successfully repelled close to Novovodyanoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️In addition, Russian troops launched a comprehensive fire attack on AFU units near Torskoye and Grigorovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 115 Ukrainian servicemen, 4 armoured fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, 1 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery system, 1Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, and 1 D-30 gun.

In Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 45 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 motor vehicles, 1Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, and 3Msta-B howitzers.

Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 96 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 118 areas.

▫️In addition, 1command post of the 15th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine was hit near Orekhov (Zaporozhye region).

Ammunition and fuel depots of the 60th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU have been destroyed close to Ogurtsovo (Kharkov region) and Druzhkovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Air defence facilities have shot down 12 projectiles launched by HIMARS MLRS.

▫️In addition, 28 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed close to Novoaleksandrovka, Mankovka, Rubezhnoye, Varvarovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Kodema, Berestovoye, Veseloye, Vasilyevka (Donetsk People’s Republic), Pavlovka, Orlyanskoye, Chervonogorka (Zaporozhye region), Novopokrovka and Novye Oleshki (Kherson region).

In total,458 airplanes, 245 helicopters, 5,430 unmanned aerial vehicles, 427 air defence missile systems, 11,084 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,142 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,719 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 12,020 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
