Ukrainian General Staff:  920 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 47 tanks and APCs destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seventy-hundred thirty-seventh era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 83 battles. In total, the enemy carried out 3 missiles and 91 air strikes, carried out 142 shelling from volcano fire jet systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded and killed among the civilian population. Demolition and damage have suffered high-rise and private buildings, a church as well as other civilian infrastructure objects.

At night, the Russian invaders repeatedly attacked Ukraine, using bpla type “shahed-136/131”. Information about the attack is being clarified.

During the past day, the settlements have suffered from air strikes of Russian occupiers: Bolohivka, Mitrofanivka of Kharkiv region; Nadiya, Bilogorivka of Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka, Virolyubivka, Mykolaivka, Klishchiyivka, Novoyegorivka, Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Dry Balka, Zhelanne, Solovyove, Semenivka, Konstantinivka, Water, Urozhayne, Staromayorske Donetsk Regions; Novodarivka, Levadne, Mala Tokmačka, Robotine, Novodanilívka, Yurkivka Zaporizhia region.

More than 110 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the operational strategic grouping of troops “North” in the Volyn and Polish directions, the operational environment remains without significant changes.

In the northern and slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operative and strategic grouping of the troops “Khortytsia” in the Kupiansky direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 2 attacks of the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Tabayivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Limansky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attacks of the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Terni, Yampolivka Donetsk region and Bilogorivka Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 2 attacks of the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivskie and Klishchievka Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of the operativno-strategic grouping of the troops “Tavriya”, in the avdíiv direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 25 attacks of the enemy in the areas of settlements: berdychi, orlivka, tonen зоke, pervomais ,ke, nevels Вke donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the defense forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Pobeda, Novomykhaylivka of Donetsk region, where Russian occupiers 30 times tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

In the oríhívs ськіkomu direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled 1 attack of the enemy in the area of robotinogo zaporizhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops “Odessa” in the Kherson direction despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to knock our units out of occupied positions. Yes, over the past day the enemy carried out 4 unsuccessful assaults of our troops on the left bank of the Dnieper.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausted the enemy along the entire front lines.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces Aviation has struck 10 areas of enemy personnel concentration.

Also the units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three fighter-bombers su-34.

The units of the missile troops affected three areas of focus of personnel, weapons and military equipment, three reactive systems of BM-21 “Grad”, two artillery, two control points, ammunition warehouse, radio-electronic combat device of the enemy.

Last day, the total enemy losses were: 920 Russian invaders, 17 tanks, 30 combat armored vehicles, 36 artillery systems, 1 air defense device, 3 aircraft, 26 operational-tactical drones, 54 cars and 10 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
