Glory to Ukraine! The seven hundred eighty-five era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 87 combat clashes.

In total, the enemy carried out 4 rockets and 57 air strikes, carried out 89 shelling from the volcano fire jet systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. A number of multi-storey buildings, a hospital, a hotel and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

During the past day, the Russian occupiers’ air strikes have suffered settlements: Rozhstvenske of Sumy region; Synkivka of Kharkiv region; Bilogorivka and Serebryanske forestry of Luhansk region; Diliyivka, Ivano-Daryivka, Rozdolivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Andriyvka, Stupochki, Konstantinivka, Klishchiyivka, Novoselivka the First, Ocheretyne, Vodyane, Novokalinove, Novopokrovsk, Spirne, Falcon, Semen Ivka, Solovyove, Krasnogorivka, Novobakhmutívka, Georgiyivka, Urozhayne, Alexandropil, Staromayorskke Donetsk region; Work of Zaporizhia regions; Krynki and Berislav of Kherson region.

More than 120 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions.

In the Kupiansky direction, Russian occupiers 4 times attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of the settlement of Novosergiyivka Kharkiv region.

In the Limans роkomu direction of the Defense Forces of Ukraine fought off 3 attacks in the areas of settlements: Nevsky Luhansk region and Terny Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 24 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka Luhansk region; Vyymka, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Novy, Klishchiyivka Donetsk region, where Russian occupants, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

In the Avdiyiv direction, Ukrainian soldiers fought off 19 attacks in the areas of settlements: Semenivka, Novobakhmutívka, Ocheretyne, Novokalinove, Yasnobrodivka, Netaylove, Pervomaiske and Novoukrainka of Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane, Krasnogorivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka and Urozhayne of Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 23 times to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

In the Orekhiv direction, occupants, supported by aviation, attacked 5 times the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of Staromayorsk Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian occupiers are trying to knock out Ukrainian units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. Yes, over the past day the Russian invaders have carried out 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops in this direction.

During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine has struck 8 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

Missile Troop units affected the composition of ammunition and another important enemy object.

Last day, the total losses of the enemy were: 910 Russian captors, 3 tanks, 8 combat armored cars, 13 artillery systems, 5 operational-tactical drones, 31 vehicles and 5 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
