On June 20, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government (NUG), Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, addressed the Central Committee for Interim Implementation of Public Administration, emphasizing the importance of properly managing those who violate tax collection policies.
The Prime Minister highlighted the need for strengthened communication between officials at various levels and urged systematic handling of policy violations in tax collection. He noted that while it is sometimes necessary to strictly enforce established policies, officials must also be adaptable to meet the needs of the people. He called on district and township officials to understand the actual situation on the ground and to incorporate this understanding into their training programs to develop effective administrators and management systems. The Prime Minister further emphasized that encouraging interactions between different levels of administration is essential for building trust and organization.
