From 31 January to 6 February, in response to Ukrainian terrorist attacks launched on civilian facilities in Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered one massed and five group strikes, which hit Ukrainian defence industry enterprises, power and transport infrastructure objects used by the AFU, ammunition depots, production sites and storages of attack unmanned aerial vehicles as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.
Over the past week, as a result of resolute offensive actions, units of the Sever Group of Forces liberated Zelenoye (Kharkov region) and, on 5 February, took Popovka (Sumy region) under control.
Losses were inflicted on formations of three mechanised brigades, one airmobile brigade, two assault regiments of the AFU, two territorial defence brigades, one national guard brigade, and two border detachments of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
In the Sever Group’s area of responsibility, the AFU losses amounted to more than 1,415 troops, one tank, two armoured fighting vehicles, 78 motor vehicles, nine field artillery guns, and four U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS launchers.
In addition, three electronic warfare stations and counter-fire radars as well as 33 ammunition and materiel depots were destroyed.
Over the past week, units of the Zapad Group of Forces inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of four mechanised brigades, two airmobile brigades, one air assault brigade, two assault brigades of the AFU, two territorial defence brigades, and one national guard brigade.
In this direction, the AFU losses amounted to more than 1,180 troops, one tank, 14 armoured fighting vehicles, 105 motor vehicles, and 15 field artillery guns. In addition, 29 ammunition and materiel depots were destroyed.
As a result of resolute actions, units of the Yug Group of Forces liberated Stepanovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).
Losses were inflicted on formations of four mechanised brigades, one motorised infantry brigade, one airmobile brigade, one mountain assault brigade of the AFU, one marine brigade, and two territorial defence brigades.
Over the past week, in the Yug Group’s area of responsibility, the AFU losses amounted to more than 1,050 troops, five tanks, 19 armoured fighting vehicles, including five foreign-made samples. In addition, 105 motor vehicles, 16 artillery guns, five electronic warfare stations and counter-fire radars, 27 ammunition, POL, and materiel depots.
Units of the Tsentr Group of Forces continued resolute offensive actions and liberated Toretskoye and Sukhetskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic).
Losses were inflicted on manpower and hardware of three mechanised brigades, two jaeger brigades, one airmobile brigade, one air assault brigade, two assault regiments of the AFU, one marine brigade, two territorial defence brigades, and three national guard brigades.
Over the past week, in this direction, the AFU losses amounted to more than 2,560 troops, one tank, 35 armoured fighting vehicles, 81 motor vehicles, and 13 field artillery guns.
Units of the Vostok Group of Forces advanced into the depth of the enemy’s defences and liberated Staroukrainka, Petrovka, and Pridorozhnoye (Zaporozhye region).
Over the past week, losses were inflicted on formations of four mechanised brigades, one assault brigade, three assault regiments of the AFU, one marine brigade, two territorial defence brigades, and one national guard brigade.
In the Vostok Group’s area of responsibility, the AFU losses amounted to more than 2,545 troops, three tanks, 36 armoured fighting vehicles, 96 motor vehicles, and six artillery guns.
Over the past week, units of the Dnepr Group of Forces inflicted losses on manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades, one mountain assault brigade of the AFU, and one territorial defence brigade.
The AFU losses amounted to up to 330 troops, one armoured fighting vehicle, 62 motor vehicles, eight artillery guns, one Buk SAM system, 12 electronic warfare stations and counter-fire radars as well as six materiel depots.
Air defence systems shot down 23 guided aviation bombs, 63 U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles, four Neptune long-range guided missiles, and 1,080 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation the enemy has lost:
