Myanmar junta airstrikes on civilians in Sagaing Region and Chin State on Wednesday reportedly killed over 30 people.
The regime has repeatedly attacked civilian and resistance targets since it declared a ceasefire on April 2.
Regime fighters dropped two 500lb bombs on In Pin Hla village school in Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region, on Thursday afternoon, killing three people, including a child, according to Kawlin Info, which monitors junta atrocities.
Regime jets bombed a village food court and an internet café close to a public hospital at Nankham village in adjacent Wuntho Township, northern Sagaing Region, on Wednesday afternoon, killing several people, including children, and injuring many others.
The planes returned later to attack rescue operations, residents told the media.
Kawlin Info told The Irrawaddy that fatalities from the airstrikes exceeded 20.
Media reports said children were killed and around 50 people injured.
Two days earlier the Kachin Independence Army, All Burma Students’ Democratic Front and resistance allies seized Indaw town around 46km north of Nankham village.
On Wednesday evening a jet from Naypyitaw airbase dropped two 500lb bombs on Pwi village on Mindat Township, southern Chin State, under Chin resistance control, according to residents.
The airstrike killed six villagers, including a pastor and an eight-month-old. Ten buildings, including a church, were destroyed in the airstrike.
On Thursday night, a junta airstrike on Saizang village in Tedim Township, northern Chin State, killed a family of six.
The airstrike destroyed four buildings, including houses and a school library, and villagers fled into nearby forests.

The airstrikes came after the Chin Brotherhood of six resistance groups took control of Falam town in northern Chin State on Monday.
Despite the March 28 earthquake, the junta conducted airstrikes, shelling and ground offensives on both civilians and resistance fighters across the country.
The civilian National Unity Government’s Human Rights Ministry estimated that the regime conducted 92 shelling attacks and airstrikes across 12 of Myanmar’s 15 regions and states between March 28 and April 8, killing 72 people and injuring 91, amid the earthquake devastation.
Junta spokesman Major General Zaw Min Tun said on Wednesday that regime bases and forces were being attacked by anti-regime groups in Sagaing and Magwe regions and Rakhine, Karenni (Kayah) and northern Shan states on Monday during its quake ceasefire.
