Russian Defense Ministry: Up to 760 Ukraine troops killed in 24 hours

According to confirmed information, on 6 July, as a result of a group strike with long-range, sea-based precision weapons on the territory of the National Army Academy in Lvov, a large number of Polish and German mercenaries stationed there have been destroyed.

In total, 4,990 foreign militants have been killed during the special military operation. In addition, 4,910 mercenaries escaped from the battlefield leaving the territory of Ukraine.

▫️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will continue the targeted destruction of foreign mercenaries on the territory of Ukraine.

The AFU continued unsuccessful attempts to conduct offensive actions in Donetsk, Krasny Liman, South Donetsk, and Zaporozhye directions.

In Donetsk direction, as a result of coordinated and active actions by units of the Yug Group of Forces, aviation and artillery, 14 enemy attacks have been successfully repelled near Belogorovka, Berestovoye, Spornoye, Zaitsevo, and Kleshcheevka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️In addition, AFU 28th, 60th, 115th mechanised, 10th mountain assault and 81st airmobile brigades, as well as 2 field camps of foreign mercenaries, have been hit close to Zolotaryovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Veseloye and Yasnogorka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Ammunition depots of the 24th and 28th mechanised brigades of the AFU have been destroyed near Novgorodskoye and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up 280 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, 5 motor vehicles, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system and 3 D-30 howitzers.

In Krasny Liman direction, as a result of coordinated actions by aviation, artillery, heavy flame thrower systems, and units of the Tsentr Group of Forces, 7 enemy attacks have been repelled close to Karmazinovka, Kremennaya, Novovodyanoye and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️In addition, units of 21st, 66th and 67th mechanised brigades of AFU have been eliminated close to Kovalyovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Terny and Yampolovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️The activities of 1 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group have been suppressed close to Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 170 Ukrainian servicemen, 7 armoured fighting vehicles, 5 pickup trucks, 1 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, 2 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, as well as 1 D-30 howitzer.

In South Donetsk direction, as a result of the actions by aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems of the Vostok Group of Forces, 3 enemy attacks have been repelled near Urozhaynoye and Priyutnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️In addition, enemy manpower and hardware concentration areas of the 23rd Mechanised Brigade and the 129th Territorial Defence Brigade have been hit close to Staromayorskoye and Priyutnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️Russian troops launched an attack on manpower and hardware of the 33rd, 47th and 65th mechanised brigades of the AFU close to Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka and Novopokrovka (Zaporozhye region).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 190 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 tanks, 6 armoured fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, 1 Msta-B howitzer, 1 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery system and 1 U.K.-manufactured FH-70 howitzer.

In Kupyansk direction, as a result of actions by aviation and artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces, manpower and hardware of the 14th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU and the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade have been hit close to Novomlynsk, Tabayevka (Kharkov region) and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️In addition, 1 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group has been destroyed near Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️The enemy losses were up to 110 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles and 2 D-20 howitzers.

In Kherson direction, the enemy losses were over 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armoured fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles and 2 D-30 howitzers.

Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 94 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 117 areas.

1 temporary deployment point of foreign mercenaries’ unit has been hit close to Goncharovskoye (Chernigov region).

▫️In addition, an aviation fuel storage has been destroyed at the Kanatovo airbase of the Ukrainian Air Force (Kirovograd region).

▫️Air defence facilities have intercepted 15 HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system projectiles, 3 HARM anti-radiation missiles, and 1 Storm Shadow cruise missile.

▫️In addition, 15 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed close to Kremennaya (Lugansk People’s Republic), Gorlovka, Novobakhmutovka, Novoukrainka (Donetsk People’s Republic), Preobrazhenka, Novopokrovka, Nesteryanka (Zaporozhye region) and Sadovoye (Kherson region).

In total, 456 airplanes, 243 helicopters, 5,169 unmanned aerial vehicles, 426 air defence missile systems, 10,811 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,139 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,562 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 11,803 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
