Russian Defence Ministry on progress of special military operation as of 14 February 2026
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.
The Sever Group of Forces improved the tactical situation. Troops of a mechanised brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a border detachment of the Ukrainian border service have been neutralised close to Novaya Sech, Grafskoye, and Miropolye (Sumy region).
In Kharkov region, units of three mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been hit near Ternovaya and Prikolotnoye (Kharkov region).
The AFU losses amounted to up to 190 troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, and an artillery gun. Two ammunition depots and six materiel depots were neutralised.
The Zapad Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and positions. In addition, strikes were delivered at manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades, an assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and a territorial defence brigade near Drobyshevo, Krasny Liman, Svyatogorsk, Shchurovo (Donetsk People’s Republic), and Borovaya (Kharkov region).
The AFU lost more than 160 troops, four armoured fighting vehicles including a U.S.-made M113 armoured personnel carrier, and a Canadian-made Senator armoured vehicle. Fifteen motor vehicles, a field artillery gun, and three ammunition depots were neutralised.
The Yug Group of Forces improved the tactical situation along the front line. Three mechanised brigades, a motorised infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, and a national guard brigade were defeated near Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Minkovka, Golubovka, Krivaya Luka, and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).
The AFU losses amounted to up to 155 troops, two UK-made Spartan armoured personnel carriers, and five armoured vehicles including two Western-made armoured vehicles.
Sixteen motor vehicles, an artillery gun, an electronic warfare station, an ammunition depot, and three materiel depots were neutralised.
d brigades close to Grishino, Belitskoye, Kucherov Yar, Zavido-Kudashevo (Donetsk People’s Republic), and Novopavlovka (Dnepropetrovsk region).
The AFU losses amounted to more than 280 troops, five armoured fighting vehicles, 10 motor vehicles, and three field artillery guns.
The Vostok Group of Forces continued advancing into the depth of enemy defence. Russian elements engaged a mechanised brigade, two assault brigades, two air assault brigades, and four assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Bratskoye, Kolomiytsy, Kommunarovka (Dnepropetrovsk region), Zelenaya Dibrova, and Barvinovka (Zaporozhye region).
The enemy lost more than 415 troops, 14 armoured fighting vehicles, 22 motor vehicles, four field artillery guns, and an electronic warfare station.
The Dnepr Group of Forces improved the tactical situation. Manpower and hardware of a mechanised brigade and a mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been hit near Orekhov, Veselyanka, Yulyevka, Grigorovka, and Novoaleksandrovka (Zaporozhye region).
Up to 30 troops, 20 motor vehicles, two electronic warfare stations, and one ammunition depot were neutralised.
Operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces have inflicted damage on the energy and transport infrastructure used for the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the central missile and artillery weapons base, long-range unmanned aerial vehicles storage and launch areas as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 154 areas.
Air defence systems shot down eight U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles and 118 fixed-wing UAVs.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation the enemy has lost:
670 aircraft,
283 helicopters,
114,075 unmanned aerial vehicles,
650 anti-aircraft missile systems,
27,679 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles,
1,664 MLRS combat vehicles,
33,277 field artillery guns and mortars,
54,365 units of support military vehicles.
