The three hundred and twenty-fifth day of the russian large-scale invasion.

The russian occupiers, having no success on the battlefield, continue to destroy the infrastructure and homes of the civilian population. They strike at populated areas, violating almost all norms of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of warfare. So, today, a russian missile hit a residential apartment building in the city of Dnipro. At the moment, it is known about 5 dead and 39 wounded civilians, including 7 children. The rescue operation is ongoing.

In general, during the day, the enemy launched 3 air strikes and about 50 missile strikes.

Today, the enemy launched massive rocket attacks on our territory. In the morning, the capital was attacked by S-400 (S-300) anti-aircraft guided missiles from the north.

Later, the terrorist state used high-precision weapons: Kh-101/Kh-555, Kh-22 air-based cruise missiles, Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, Kh-59 guided air missiles against the critical infrastructure of Ukraine.

In total, the enemy launched about 28 cruise missiles of various bases and 5 launches of guided air missiles.

18 cruise missiles and 3 guided air missiles were destroyed by the forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with units of other components of the Defense Forces. Counting and clarification is in progress.

In addition, the occupiers fired 50 rounds from rocket launchers.

The threat of enemy air and missile strikes remains on the entire territory of Ukraine.

The enemy does not abandon its intentions to completely capture the Donetsk region. For this purpose, it concentrates its main efforts on offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction. Heavy fighting continues for Soledar. Our soldiers repel enemy attacks around the clock. The occupiers suffer heavy losses. The enemy is also conducting an offensive in the Lyman, Avdiivka, and Novopavliv directions. It is trying to improve its tactical position in the Kupyansk direction, and is defending itself in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions.

There are no significant changes on the Volyn, Polisiya, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. No offensive groups of the enemy were detected. The republic of belarus continues to participate in russian aggression against our state, providing its territory and airspace for launching strikes, as well as ammunition and logistical means.

Areas of the settlements of Vovkivka and Kindrativka in the Sumy region and Staritsa, Gatishche, Vovchansk, Strelecha, Ternova, Khatne and Topoli in the Kharkiv region were hit by mortar and artillery fire.

In the Kupyansk direction, the areas of Dvorichna, Orlyanka, Kotlyarivka, and Krokhmalne settlements of Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region, were hit by fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy shelled the Makiivka, Nevsky, Kreminnaya and Chervonopivka districts of the Luhansk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Spirne, Vyimka, Bilogorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Druzhba and Severnye in Donetsk region were damaged by fire.

Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Vodyane, and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region came under the influence of enemy fire in the Avdiivka direction.

In the direction of Novopavlivka, the enemy shelled Vugledar, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, shelling was recorded near Malynyvka, Gulyaipol, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychny, Charivny, Malaya Tokmachka, Stepovoy, and Plavny in Zaporizhzhia.

In the Kherson direction, Kherson and Dmytrivka of the Mykolaiv region were shelled by rocket and barrel artillery, and civilians were injured.

In order to strengthen the defense capabilities of its units in the left-bank Kherson region, the enemy is redeploying. The movement of personnel, weapons, military equipment and ammunition is noted.

The enemy continues to suffer losses in manpower every day and it shows. The staffing level of individual units of the 3 separate motorized rifle brigades of the 1st army corps, located in the Horlivka district of the Donetsk region, remains low, up to 40 percent. And this, despite the recent addition of mobilized and contract workers. It is significant that personnel are not allowed to leave the location – in this way, the occupiers somehow try to prevent desertion.

The russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region are revising the categories of citizens of draft age who previously had so-called “armor”. In particular, workers of emergency and communal services have already been warned about this.

During the day, the Ukrainian aviation made 5 strikes on areas where the invaders were concentrated, and rocket launchers and artillerymen hit 5 such areas and the enemy’s ammunition depot.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
