Day 520 of the full-scale russian military aggression continues.
During the day July 28, the enemy carried out 10x airstrikes and launched 19xMLRS attacks on Ukrainian cities and Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The threat of missile and air strikes remains high across Ukraine.
21x combat clashes took place throughout the day.
Volyn’ and Polissya axes: no significant changes detected. There are no signs of the offensive groupings formation.
Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy forces carried out airstrikes at Galaganivka and Leonivka of the Chernihiv Oblast and Iskriskiv and Volfyny of the Sumy Oblast. They shelled with mortars and artillery more than 15x settlements. These are Ivashki, Hur’iv Kozachok, Udy, Strelecha, Zelene and Okhrimivka in the Kharkiv Oblast.
Kup’yans’k axis: the enemy carried out an air strike at Druzhelyubivka of the Kharkiv Oblast. Kolodyazne, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Sinkivka and Kislivka of the Kharkiv Oblast got under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
Lyman axis: the enemy carried out an airstrike at Hryhorivka of the Donetsk Oblast. Nevs’ke, Bilogorivka of Luhansk Oblast and Tors’ke, Verkhn’yokam’ians’ke, Spirne of Donetsk Oblast were shelled by artillery.
Bakhmut axis: more than 15x settlements were shelled by artillery, including Minkivka, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivs’ke, Predtechine, and Bila Hora of the Donetsk Oblast.
Avdiivka axis: the adversary launched an air strike at Avdiivka. More than 10x settlements, including Avdiivka, Pervomais’ke, and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by artillery.
Mar’inka axis: the defense forces continue to hold back the advance of russian troops in the vicinities of Mar’inka. The enemy shelled more than 10x settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Mar’inka, Novomykhailivka, Pobieda, and Georgiivka in the Donetsk Oblast.
Shakhtars’k axis: the occupiers shelled the settlements of Odradne, Blagodatne, Makarivka, Zelene Pole and Novodarivka of the Donetsk Oblast.
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. More than 25x settlements, including Chervone, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Stepove of Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Kozats’ke, Tyaginka, Ivanivka and Sadov in Kherson Oblast were shelled by artillery.
Defense Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations on the Melitopol’ and Berdyansk axes, and are equipping captured positions, open fire with artillery on designated enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery measures.
Due to successful military operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and because of enemy significant losses in manpower, the number of refusals to participate in combat operations increased throughout russian occupation forces. For example, in Rozivka of Zaporizhzhya Oblast, about 60x russian troops from the 247th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 7th Airborne Assault Division of the russian armed forces refused to conduct combat operations near the village of Staromayorskoe in Donetsk Oblast. The occupiers even partially disabled their own cars and armored vehicles.
Ukrainian Air Force conducted 3x strikes on enemy manpower concentrations.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 8x artillery units at firing positions, 2x radio electronic warfare stations, an ammunition warehouse, as well as a warehouse of enemy fuel and lubricants.
