Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and seventy-eighth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state continues.

The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite the significant losses, he does not give up his plans for the full occupation of our territory.

The adversary continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, and fires both at military and civilian targets.

During the day, the russian occupiers launched another missile attack on the Kyiv region, using 6 X-47 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles and 6 “Calibre” cruise missiles. All 12 missiles were destroyed by the Air Force and Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, during the day, the enemy carried out 24 airstrikes, carried out about 35 attacks from MLRS systems. Unfortunately, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure, civilians suffered.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions – 21 combat clashes took place during the day.

On the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. On the training grounds of the republic of belarus, measures of combat training and coordination of units of the russian federation are underway before they are sent to the areas of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. During the day, the adversary carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Mogrytsia, Sumy Region, and Budarka, Kharkiv Region. He carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Znob-Trubchevska, Chuykivka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Stari Virky, Basivka, Stepok, Krasnopillya, Velika Pisarivka of the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Chervona Zorya, Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Zelene, Ternova, Ogirtseve, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Bochkove, Mala Vovcha in Kharkiv Oblast.

Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kislivka of the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske of the Luhansk region were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire in the Kupyansk direction.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the Spirnyi region of the Donetsk region. Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Serebryanka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bela Hora and New York of the Donetsk region. Areas of settlements of Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bogdanivka, Khromov, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, Bila Gora, Kostyantynivka, Pivdenne of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Stepovoy and Avdiivka. Conducted an airstrike in the Avdiyivka area. Conducted artillery shelling of the Avdiivka, Vesely, and Karlivka districts of the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. The enemy carried out airstrikes in Maryinka and Pobeda districts of Donetsk region. At the same time, the occupiers carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Maksimilianivka, Kostyantynivka settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Shakhtarske, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka and Vodyanyi, Donetsk region, without success. Airstrikes in Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, Blagodatne districts. He shelled the settlements of Vugledar, Vremivka, Storozheve, Novosilka, Novopil of the Donetsk region.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. The adversary carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Olhivske, Poltavka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Charivne, Biloghirya, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zmiivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, there are cases of violent abduction of the pro-Ukrainian population, as well as the construction of new torture chambers for their detention. In particular, russian terrorists set up one of these torture chambers on the territory of a secondary school in the village of Velyki Kopani, Kherson region. In the school gym, units of the FSB of the russian federation conduct interrogations. The occupiers keep the detained persons in harsh, inhumane conditions, torture them.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces made 14 strikes during the day on areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Our defenders also destroyed 3 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

Units of Missile troops and Artillery during the day hit the control post, 3 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and 4 artillery units at firing positions, 2 radio stations of electronic warfare and 2 more important objects of the enemy.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
