Ukrainian General Staff: 1,096 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 31 tanks or APC’s destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! The seven hundred ninety-fifth era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 88 combat clashes.

In total, the enemy struck 32 rockets and 64 aviation strikes, executed

60 shelling from the reactive systems of volcano fire on the positions of our troops and settlements.

At night, Russian invaders včergove attacked Ukraine – deployed 4 bpla type “shahed” and 5 bpla of unsettled type. By the forces and means of air defense of Ukraine all bpla type “shahed” and 1 bpla of unsettled type were destroyed.

During the past day, the settlements of Strílecha, Sinelnikove, Vovchanski Kharkiv region; Serebryanske Forestry, Belogorivka Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka, Alexander-Shultine, Spirne, Chasiv Yar, Friendship, Alexandropil, Shcherbinivka, Semenivka, Eugene, Novooleksandrivka, Novokalinove, Arkhangelsk, Novozhelanne, Karlivka, Paraskoviyivka, Konstantinivka, B Dressed, Urožayne, Staromayors одke Donetsk region; Krinki, Ivanivka, Kizomis Kherson region.

More than 110 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions.

In the Kupiansky direction, our soldiers repelled 13 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kislivka, Brestove, Kopanka Kharkiv region and Novoyegorivka and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.

In the limans Сеkomu direction, the enemy spent 14 attacks in the areas of nevs 14kogo, serebryans сьkogo forestry of luhansk region and terniv on donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 8 attacks in the areas of the settlements Spirne, Vyymka, Ivanivskie, Klishchievka and New Donetsk region.

In the Avdíiv direction, our defenders have fought 35 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novokalinove, Keramík, Umans Наke and Netajlove of the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Vodyane, Paraskoviyivka and the western Victory of the Donetsk region, where the enemy 13 times tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Orykhiv direction, the invaders twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the areas of Staromayorsk Donetsk region and Robotiny in Zaporozhye.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy during the past day did not lead offensive (stormovih) actions.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.

During the day, the Defense Forces aviation struck 16 areas of focus of enemy personnel.

Units of the rocket troops affected 1 control point and 2 radio stations of the enemy.

In total, last day total losses of Russian zagarbnikív amounted to 1096 people. Also, the enemy lost 11 tanks, 20 combat armored cars, 43 artillery systems, one RSF, 1 anti-aircraft vehicle, 22 Bpla OTR, 46 vehicles and 3 special equipment unit

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
