Ukrainian General Staff: 1,100 Russian troops killed or wounded in past 24 hours: 60 tanks or APC’s destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Six hundred ninety-second era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 94 combat clashes. In total, the enemy carried out 1 rocket and 68 air strikes, carried out 78 shelling from the volcano fire jet systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Destruction and damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

Aviation strikes of Russian occupiers suffered: Vesele, Brestove Kharkiv region; Novolyubivka, Serebryanske Forestry of Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka, Bogdanivka, Avdiyivka, Alexandropil, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane Donetsk region; Novodariyvka of Zaporizhia region; Zmiyivka, Novoberislav, Berislav of Kherson region.

More than 110 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the operational strategic grouping of troops “North” in the Volyn and Polish directions, the operational environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operative-strategic grouping of troops “Khortytsia” in the Kupiansky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 attacks of the enemy near Synkivka Kharkiv region.

In the Limans Наkomu direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attacks of the enemy near Terniv, Yampolivka, Torsky Donetsk region and 19 more – in the areas of Serebryans сниkogo forest, Belogorivka Luhansk region and Grigorivka, Verkhnyokamians сьkogo, Merry Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 7 attacks of the enemy near Ivanivsky, Klishchievka and Andriyivka of Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of the operative and strategic grouping of troops “Tavriya” in the Avdiyiv direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy who does not abandon attempts to surround Avdiyivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense, causing the occupiers significant losses. Yes, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine over the past day repelled 18 attacks of captives in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepovo, Avdiivka and 16 more attacks – near the Northern, Pervomaisky and Nevel Donetsk region.

In the Marinsky direction, our defenders continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka of Donetsk region, where 12 attacks were repelled.

In the šakhtars наkomu direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Zaporizhia direction of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 3 attacks of the enemy west of the Willow and Robotinogo Zaporizhya region.

In the area of responsibility of the operative and strategic grouping of the troops “Odessa” in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to expand the platzarmu on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Khererson region. Despite the significant losses, the Russian occupiers do not give up attempts to knock our units out of occupied positions. During the past day, the enemy has carried out one unsuccessful assault on the positions of our troops.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers continue to actively cause the occupation troops losses in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine has struck 22 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as 1 enemy anti-missile complex.

Missile troop units hit 3 personnel focus areas, 8 artillery vehicles, one air defense vehicle and 2 enemy radio stations.

Estimated losses of the enemy last day were: 1110 Russian occupiers, 24 tanks, 36 combat armored vehicles, 30 artillery systems, 3 reactive systems of volcano fire, 3 air defense devices, 2 aircraft, 12 operational-tactical drones, 1 winged rocket, 33 cars and 9 special equipment units

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
