Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and fifty-fifth day of large-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against our state continues.

During the day, the enemy carried out 4 missile and 30 air strikes, 32 attacks from MLRS on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civil infrastructure were destroyed.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

During the day, 31 combat clashes took place.

On the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 20 settlements, in particular, Huta-Studenetska, Karpovychi of the Chernihiv region, Vyntorivka, Romashkovo, Shalygine, Simeykyne, Volfyne, Volodymyrivka of the Sumy region and Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Ternova, Karaichne , Khrypuny, Kolodyazne, Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novoselivsky district of the Luhansk region. Carried out an airstrike in the Krokhmalny district of the Kharkiv region. More than 10 settlements, including Stroivka, Novomlynsk, Petropavlivka, Kislivka, Pishchane and Druzhelyubivka of the Kharkiv region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the Novoyehorivka and Belogorivka districts of the Luhansk region. More than 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery shelling, including Makiivka, Nevske, Belogorivka of Luhansk region and Myrne, Torske, Svyat-Pokrovske, Ivano-Daryivka, Nikiforivka and Rozdolivka of Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Kurdyumivka area of the Donetsk region. Carried out airstrikes in the areas of Stupochki, Bila Hora, New York of the Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Bila Gora, Dachne, and Pivdenne of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the North region of Donetsk region. Continued to fire artillery and mortar fire at Keramik, Stepove, Severne, Nevelske, and Memryk settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Krasnohorivka area of the Donetsk region. The settlements of Oleksandropil, Gostre, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Velika Novosilka, Donetsk region. Carried out an airstrike in the Staromayorsky district of the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Urozhyne, Vilne Pole, and Novopil of the Donetsk region, were affected by the enemy’s artillery shelling.

In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Malinivka districts of Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery shelling, including Novodarivka, Chervone, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Mali Shcherbaki of the Zaporizhia region and Nikopol of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy shelled more than 10 settlements with artillery, including Zolota Balka, Mylove, Kozatske, Burgunka, Tokarivka, and Yantarne of the Kherson region.

At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, are entrenched at the achieved boundaries, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

During the day, the aviation of the defense forces made 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and 4 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit 10 artillery pieces in firing positions, 1 ammunition depot and 1 enemy radar station.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
