Ukrainian General Staff:  810 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 17 tanks or APC’s destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seventy-eight era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 55 combat clashes.

In total, Russian invaders carried out 8 missiles and 93 air strikes, carried out 78 shelling from the volcano fire jet systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population.

At night, Russian terrorists launched another massive air strike on Ukraine using wing missiles and Shahed-136/131 drones. According to preliminary information, the air defense forces and means of Ukraine 37 of 40 drones are destroyed. Information on the number of destroyed missiles and the consequences of the Russian terrorist attack is to be clarified.

During the past day, the Russian occupiers’ air strikes have suffered settlements: Dergachi, Liptsi, Vovchansk, Kurilivka, Kruglyakivka of the Kharkiv region; Bilogorivka, Serebryanske forestry of the Luhansk region; Spirne, Verkhnyokamianske, Ivanivka, Alexandropil, Semenivka, Novokalinove, Berdychi, Netaylove, Krasnogorovka, Konstantinivka, Vugledar, Urozhayne, Staromayorske Donetsk region; Mala Tokmačka, Robotine of Zaporizhia region.

More than 120 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border.

In the Kupâns ступаkomu direction, the opponent did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 3 attacks of the enemy in the area of the Terny settlement of Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers fought off 23 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka of Luhansk region; Viymka, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiyivka of Donetsk region.

In the Avdííí̈vs сьkomu direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 6 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Keramík, Berdyči, Umans Наke, Netajlove and Pervomais Наke of Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Novomykhaylivka, where the enemy, with aviation support, tried 16 times to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

In the Orekhiv direction, Russian foreigners once unsuccessfully attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of Staromayorsk Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian occupiers are trying to knock out Ukrainian units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. During the past day, carried out 6 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops.

During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine has struck the area of focus of personnel, weapons and military equipment, the anti-missile complex, the artillery system and the radio-electronic combat station of the enemy.

Rocket Troops units affected 9 areas of focus and 1 enemy anti-missile complex.

Last day, the total enemy losses were 810 Russian invaders, 5 tanks, 12 combat armored vehicles, 48 artillery systems, 1 air defense device, 34 operational-tactical drones, two missiles, 50 cars and 6 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
