Ukrainian General Staff:  about 1,130 Russians killed or wounded in the past 24 hours; 70 tanks or APCs destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seventy-hundred and eighty era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there have been 97 battles.

In total, the enemy struck 2 rockets and 91 aviation strike, carried out

160 shelling from the reactive systems of volcano fire on the positions of our troops and settlements.

During the past day, the settlements of Sumy region suffered from air strikes; Liptsi, Vovchansk, Kupiansk-Vuzlovy, Petropavlivka, Kurilivka of Kharkiv region; Terny, Friendship, New York, Chasiv Yar, Kalinivka, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Semenivka, Umanske, Netaylove, Karlivka, Krasnogorivka, Konstantinivka, Katerinivka, Water, Urožayne, Time of Donetsk region and Robotine and Mala Tokmačka Zaporizhia region.

More than 110 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions.

In the kupâns )komu direction, the enemy of aggressive (storm) actions did not lead.

In the Limansky direction, the enemy once attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of Torsky Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 33 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Vyymka, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivskke, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdií̈vs новеkomu direction, our defenders fought 18 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novokalinove, Novobakhmutívka, Berdyči, Pervomais діke and Netajlove of Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Novomykhailivka, Konstantinivka, Vodyane, Urozhaine of Donetsk region, where the enemy 29 times tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Orykhiv direction, the invaders 7 times attacked the positions of our defenders in the areas of Staromayorsk Donetsk region and Robotiny in Zaporozhye.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not refuse the intention to knock out our units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. Yes, over the past day, the enemy has carried out 6 unsuccessful attacks on our troops’ positions.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces Aviation has struck 12 areas of focus, weapons and military equipment and 4 enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes. Also, one kerovanu aviation missile X-59 was destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of Ukraine.

The units of the missile troop affected 1 area of focus, 2 air defense vehicles, 1 enemy REB station.

In total, last day total losses of Russian zagarbnikív amounted to 1130 people. The enemy also lost 23 tanks, 47 armored combat vehicles, 32 artillery systems, 3 rifles, 1 anti-aircraft vehicle, 40 Bpla OTR, one rocket, 57 vehicles and 5 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
