Ukrainian General Staff: About 1,320 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 55 tanks and APC’s destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! The eighty-eighth era of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 104 combat clashes.

In total, the enemy carried out 7 missiles and 108 air strikes, carried out over 120 shelling from the volcano fire jet systems at the positions of our troops and settlements.

During the past day, the settlements of Bilopil, Konstantinivka, the gardens of Sumy region; Vesele, Vovchansk, Vovchans ,ki farms of Kharkiv region; Lyman, Verkhnyokamianske, Druzhba, Spirne, Kalinove, Umanske, Bogoyavlenka Donetsk region.

More than 120 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the northern direction, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversíno-intelligence activities, carries out shelling of settlements from the territory of Russia, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border of Ukraine.

In the Slobozhansky direction, our soldiers fought off 9 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Strilcha, Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliynikove, Lukyantsi, Ogirtseve, Gatyshche, Pletenivka of Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansky direction, our soldiers repelled 13 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka, Brestove Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka Luhansk region.

In the Limans насеkomu direction, the Defense Forces have repelled 11 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Makiyivka Luhansk region and Tors Лиke Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, 18 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka of Luhansk region; Verkhnyokamianske, Rozdolivka, Grigorivka, Bogdanivka, Kalinivka, Vyimka, Klishchiyivka and Andriyivka of Donetsk region.

In the Avdiyiv direction, our defenders repelled 24 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kalinovo, Novooleksandrivka, Sokil, Uman Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, southwest of Novomykhailivka and Sweet Donetsk region, where the enemy 3 times tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Orekhiv direction, the enemy 14 times attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of Staromayorsk Donetsk region and Robotinogo Zaporizhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not refuse the intention to knock out our units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. Over the past day, the enemy has carried out 1 unsuccessful attack on the positions of our troops.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces and the units of the missile troops have struck the control point, the fuel warehouse, the anti-missile complex, the radio station and 18 areas of focus of the enemy personnel.

In total, last day total losses of Russian zagarbnikív amounted to 1320 people. Also, the enemy lost 15 tanks, 40 combat armored vehicles, 55 artillery systems, two RSVs, 1 weapon of defense, 42 bpla otr, one rocket, 64 cars and 9 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
