Ukrainian General Staff: About 710 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 22 tanks or APC’s destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seventy-hundred and eighty-four era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, 68 combat clashes took place.

In total, the Russian occupiers carried out 2 missiles and 64 air strikes, carried out 75 shelling from jet fire systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population.

During the past day, the settlements were affected by air strikes of Russian occupiers: Popivka, Vozdvizhenska Sumy region; Zolochiv, Vesele, Volohivka, Glushkivka, Kolisnikivka, Brestove Kharkiv region; Belogorivka Luhansk region; Terni, Zarichne, Verkhnyokamianske, Chasiv Yar, Spirne, Novokalinove, Berdychi, Semenivka, Pervomaiske, Solovyove, Bila Gora, Novobakhmutivka, Alexandropil, An tonivka, Konstantinivka, Staromayors ніke Donetsk region; Small Tokmačka, Robotine Zaporizhia region; Berislav, Oradokamianka, Cossack of Kherson region.

More than 110 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, Russian occupiers maintain a military presence in the border areas, carry out diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increase the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border.

In the kupâns льkomu direction Russian occupiers did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Limans щиkomu direction, the enemy 9 times attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of ternív, tors ганkogo, grigorívki Donetsk region and serebryans .kogo forestry in luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers fought off 19 attacks in the areas of the settlements Verkhnyokamianske, Viymka, Bilogorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivskke, Klishchiyivka Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

In the avdííí̈vs вkomu direction, Ukrainian soldiers fought off 11 attacks in the areas of settlements ocheretyne, novokalinove, berdychi, semenivka, netaylove, pervomais ,ke donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, Novomykhailivka Donetsk region, where the enemy tried 20 times to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.

In the Orihiv direction, Russian occupiers 4 times attacked the positions of Ukrainian soldiers in the areas of Staromayorskogo Donetsk region, Robotinogo and northwestern Palm Zaporizhia region.

In the Kherson direction Russian foreigners are trying to knock out Ukrainian units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. Over the past day, the Russian occupiers carried out 5 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops in this direction.

During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine has struck 6 personnel focus areas and 2 enemy control points.

Units of the rocket troops affected the area of focus of the enemy personnel.

Last day, the total losses of the enemy were: 710 Russian invaders, 4 tanks, 18 combat armored vehicles, 15 artillery systems, an air defense device, 2 operational-tactical drones, one rocket, 24 cars and 2 enemy special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
