Ukrainian General Staff: About 790 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 62 tanks or APCs destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seven hundred seventy-third era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 80 combat clashes.

In total, the enemy fired 14 missiles and 107 air strikes, carried out

137 shelling from the reactive systems of volcano fire on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. A number of multi-storey buildings suffered destruction and damage, other objects of civil infrastructure.

Two H-101/H-555 missiles and a Calibre missile were shot down as a result of an anti-aircraft combat.

During the past day, the settlements of Kostobobrov of Chernihiv region suffered from air strikes; Oleksandrivka, Popivka, Krasnopilya, Novodmitrivka, Svesa, Pokrovka, Seredina-Buda of Sumy region; Krugle, Brestove, Kupiansk Kharkiv region; Terni, Chasiv Yar, Zalizne, New York, Northern, Berdychi, Umanske, Pervomais добиke, Netajlove, Novobakhmutívka, Ocheretyne, Jasnobrodivka, Kalinove, Krasnogor Ivka, Harvest, Water, Coal, Konstantinivka, Novomyhajlivka, Catherine of Donetsk region; Work of Zaporizhia areas.

About 110 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border.

In the kupâns Наkomu direction during the past day, the enemy of offensive (storm) actions did not lead.

In the Limansky direction, our soldiers repelled 3 attacks of the enemy in the area of the settlement of Terny Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled more than 16 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Andriyivka, Zelenopilya, Klishchiyivka, Novy, Spirne, Ivanivskke Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical position.

In the Avdiyiv direction, our defenders fought 22 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychy, Umanske, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Yasnobrodivka, Semenivka Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to knock out our units from the occupied borders.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorivka, Novomykhailivka, Georgiyivka, Konstantinivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy is supported by aviation,

20 times he tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Orekhiv direction over the past day, the enemy, supported by aviation, has made 1 failed attempt to attack the positions of our troops in the area of the settlement Staromayorskke Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not refuse the intention to knock out our units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. Yes, over the past day, the enemy carried out 16 unsuccessful attacks on our troops positions.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces has struck 11 personnel focus areas and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile complex.

Units of the rocket troops have been affected by

2 anti-aircraft vehicles, 5 artillery vehicles, 1 control point, 1 BpLA control point, 3 weapons and military equipment focus areas, and 1 other important enemy object.

In total, last day total losses of Russian zagarbnikív were 790 people. Also, the enemy lost 24 tanks, 38 combat armored vehicles, 41 artillery systems, 3 rsv, 2 weapons of war, 48 bpla otr, 70 vehicles and 5 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
