Ukrainian General Staff: About 880 Russian troops killed or wounded in 24 hours; 23 tanks or armored vehicles destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seventy-tenth era of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, there were 77 combat clashes. In total, the enemy carried out 2 missiles and 86 air strikes, carried out 46 shelling from the volcano fire jet systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Destruction and damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

At night, the Russian invaders struck another strike by applying 14 bpla type “Shahed-136/131”. 9 enemy drones were destroyed by the forces and air defense of Ukraine.

Aviation strikes were experienced: Ohrimivka, Budarki, Chorne, Vilkhuvatka, Ivanivka, Kislivka, Tabayivka of Kharkiv region; Belogorivka of Luhansk region; Terny, Klishchiyivka, White Mountain, Alexandropil, Novokalinove, Ocheretyne, Avdiyivka, Novomykhailivka, Konstantinivka, Vugledar, Staromayorskke Donetsk region; Robotine of Zaporizhia region; Kherson, Sablukivka, Kachkarivka, Republican, Red Lighthouse, Snake Spruce, Shlyakhove, Berislav, Mykolaivka of Kherson region.

More than 100 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the OSUV “North” in the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the osuv “Khortytsia” in the kupâns киkomu direction, 5 attacks of the enemy near syn зоkívka and ívanívka of the kharkiv region.

In the Limans Наkomu direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 attacks of occupants in the area of terniv Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction of the Defense Forces repelled 2 attacks of the enemy near Bogdanivka and Klishchiaivka Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of the OSUV “Tavria” in the Avdiyiv direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy who does not abandon attempts to surround Avdiyivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense, causing zagarbnikam significant losses. Yes, the Defense Forces over the past day repelled 29 attacks of the enemy in the area of Avdiyivka and 15 more attacks near Pervomaysky and Nevelsky Donetsk oblasts.

In the Marins нkomu direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to restrain the enemy near Georgíivka and Novomyhajlivka Donetsk region, where 7 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtars їkomu direction Ukrainian defenders repelled the attack of the occupiers south of the Golden Niva of Donetsk region.

In the direction of the defense forces repelled 3 attacks of the enemy in the area of robotinogo and western willow zaporizhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the OSUV “Odessa” in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to maintain positions and repel attacks of the occupation troops. Despite the significant losses, the enemy does not give up its attempts to knock our units out of their occupied positions. Yes, over the past day the enemy carried out 7 unsuccessful assaults.

At the same time, our soldiers are actively inflicting losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausted the enemy along the entire front line.

Over the past day, the Aviation of the Defense Forces has struck 10 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of enemy.

The rocket troops units struck 3 ammunition warehouses and 1 enemy artillery.

Estimated losses of the enemy last day were: 880 invaders, 10 tanks, 13 combat armored vehicles, 26 artillery systems, 1 rifle, 15 bpla operational-tactical level, 36 vehicles and 3 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
