Ukrainian General Staff:  Some 1,160 Russian troops killed in 24 hours; 35 tanks and APC’s destroyed or disabled

Glory to Ukraine! Seventy-hundred fifty-third era of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine began.

During the past day, there were 58 combat clashes.

In total, the enemy struck 6 rockets and 62 aviation strikes, executed

125 shelling from the reactive systems of volcano fire on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population.

At night, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine – zadâali 16 bpla type “shahed”. By the forces and means of the air defense of Ukraine, 14 of these attack drones were destroyed.

During the past day, the settlements of Velika Pysarivka, Stara Guta, Ryzhivka, Popivka, Yamne, Oleksandrivka, Luhivka of Sumy region; Staritsa, Liptsi Kharkiv region; Novoyegorivka of Luhansk region; Spirne, Vesele, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Friendship, Alexandropil, Semenivka, Umanske, Ocheretyne, Krasnogorivka, Konstantinivka, Georgiyivka, Novomykhailivka, Water, Harvest, Ma Karivka, Velika Novosilka of Donetsk region.

About 140 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the Volyn and Polish directions, the operating environment remains without significant changes.

In the northern and slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts diversionary activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, increases the density of mine-explosive fences along the state border in the Belgorod region. Yes, in the areas of the settlements of Stara Ghuta and Bruska Sumy region, our defenders have stopped 2 attempts to penetrate the enemy DRG.

In the kupâns ступаkomu direction, the enemy of aggressive (storm) actions did not lead.

In the Limansky direction, our soldiers repelled 1 attack of the enemy in the area of the settlement of Bilogorivka Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, 5 attacks of the enemy were repelled in the areas of the settlements Ivanivskie, Klishchieivka and eastern of the Donetsk region Timeline.

In the Avdiyiv direction, our defenders repelled 11 attacks of the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Berdyči, Tonenke, Pervomais захиke and Nevels Авke.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the defense forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Novomykhailivka and the eastern Donetsk region, where the enemy 28 times tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the orihívs ніkomu direction, the enemy 4 times attacked the positions of our defenders in the areas of robotinogo and northwestern palm zaporizhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the occupiers do not refuse the intention to knock out our units from placdarmív on the left bank of the Dnieper. Yes, within the past day, there were 2 assaults by our troops.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in live force and equipment to the occupying troops, exhausted the enemy along the entire front lines.

During the day, the Defense Forces Aviation struck 4 areas of concentration, weapons and enemy military equipment.

The missile troop units attacked the control point, 2 personnel focus areas and 1 enemy air defense device.

In total, last day total losses of Russian zagarbnikív amounted to 1160 people. The enemy also lost 11 tanks, 24 combat armored cars, 28 artillery systems, one anti-aircraft vehicle, 4 Bpla OTR, 49 vehicles and 11 special equipment units.

Forced displacement represents one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. Individuals and families, torn from the fabric of their communities, find themselves navigating a world of uncertainty, often without basic necessities or a clear path to safety. There are currently some 110 million forced displaced, and this number is growing by 10 million each year!

At the heart of this crisis are the political triggers. Armed conflicts, ethnic or religious persecutions, and systemic human rights abuses force millions to flee their homes in terror. Many are displaced within their own national boundaries, while others seek asylum abroad. If these factors change as a result of political shifts at home or the pressures from abroad, they can return to their homes. Forced displacement is thus different from environmentally driven displacement, as victims of climate change may never be able to return to their homes.

The ramifications of any sort of displacement are profound, not just for those directly affected, but also for host communities and countries. Overburdened infrastructures, socio-economic strains, and cultural tensions can arise, necessitating comprehensive strategies to foster harmony and integration. Yet the root causes of forced displacement can be remedied with a concerted focus by local players and international diplomacy.

Organizations like Refugees International play a crucial role in this arena, advocating for the rights and needs of the displaced, conducting on-the-ground assessments, and influencing policymakers to take informed actions. Their relentless work underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgency ofinternational cooperation. But they, too, are overwhelmed by the rapid expansion of the crisis.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL), with its core principles centered on the protection of civilians during conflicts, plays a pivotal role in this discourse. Yet, despite clear legal frameworks, compliance remains
inconsistent. This initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding and reinforcing these international standards.

It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about active engagement. We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to prioritize the rights and needs of the forced displaced. Through collective efforts, informed policies, and sustained advocacy, we can shift the narrative from passive acknowledgment to proactive intervention.
